Totally agree, Avril. The main problem is many people feel they are entitled to U2′s hard earned money just because they have a lot of it. U2 didn’t have to give millions to poorer communities but they did.

Ok we’ll all make a rule that if a company is originally from a country they must pay their taxes there. Perfect so we’ll get all that money from u2. And there’ll be loads of empty buildings that the multinationals were in for us too keep it in.

They pay millions in tax in Ireland, there royalties are paid to U2 holdings which is based in holland it pays massive amounts of tax there too, it’s not really tax dodging if there not hiding it in Monaco or the caymen islands now is it, f the begrudges their one of the greatest bands to ever grace this earth war is an amazing album, and as for bono fair play to him for all the charity work he has helped save move lives in Africa in the past ten years than many others before him for many decades before him
