A COUPLE OF months back Dublin City Council started leaving little messages beside pieces of graffiti around the Corporation Offices on Wood Quay, highlighting the cost of removing the works of art.
Graffiti alluding to U2′s perceived status as ‘tax dodgers’ has also become a common occurrence around the city now, and Dublin City Council has something to say about it:
A flawed work that desperately strives to mirror the mood of the public. But in highlighting the issues surrounding U2′s tax affairs, the ‘artist’ has created a piece that will itself put further strain on our tax reserves.
