PHOTOGRAPHER KARL MARTINI took his camera to the Liberties area in inner-city Dublin.
He ended up with a gallery of candid images of children, tradespeople and passers-by in the area’s busy streets and laneways.

Good photos, but would loved to have seen a few photos of some of the women of the Liberties !!! They are hardly camera shy !
The photos of the liberties is bringing back such memories to me of my youth spent there working in my Dads shop Eustace brothers! Great to see some faces, Fuscos, Larkins and Dunnes. My Dad would of loved to of seen these pictures….
Great pics of the liberties really nice people down to earth, there heads not in the clouds like some of the airy fairies here :)
