What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Graham Norton Show (BBC1, 10.35pm)

Graham is BACK! And bringing top notch star power to our TV screens once again – tonight, we’ve got Jessica Chastain, Matt Damon, Marion bloody Cotillard, Bill Bailey, and The Weeknd, who will be providing the tunes. The combined weight of all the Oscar nominations on that couch will buckle it. #grahamnorton

Strictly Come Dancing (BBC1, 9pm)

Wee Daniel has his first twirl on the Strictly tiles tonight as the contest kicks off in earnest. Some of the celebs also competing include Ainsley Harriott, Kirsty Gallacher, and Peter Andre, who we suspect will be quite good at this. Let the fun begin! #strictly

The Late Late Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

After the glitz of Graham and Strictly, the Late Late Show tonight is bringing us right back down to earth. Health minister Leo Varadkar is the top guest, along with former Kilkenny hurler Henry Shefflin, Keith Barry, and actress Jules Coll. Hmm. #latelate

Everyone’s talking about: Mean tweets

Jimmy Kimmel Live / YouTube

Jimmy Kimmel has released a supercut of all of the celebrities who read mean tweets about themselves on the show this week, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Liam Neeson, The Rock, and Bette Midler. An absolute delight!
