What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Late Late Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

Irish actor Jack Reynor, fresh from winning the Best Actor prize at the Sundance Film Festival, hits the couch tonight to chat about his role in The Secret Scripture. Keith (Brain Hacker) Barry will also be on, presumably to hack the audience’s brains like a computer. Lucy O’Byrne of The Voice UK rounds out the guests. #latelate

X-Men: First Class (TV3, 9pm)

Michael Fassbender stars as Magneto in this fun prequel to the X-Men films, with the lovely James McAvoy as a young Professor Xavier. The film follows Magneto and Xavier as they go from friends to deadly enemies.

Gogglebox (Channel 4, 9pm)

You know what it is. Scarlett Moffat is the new queen, may she reign forever and ever. #gogglebox

  • Sex and the Church (BBC2, 9pm) An examination of Christianity’s effect on attitudes towards sex.
  • Have I Got News For You (BBC1, 9pm) No Clarkson, but Daniel Radcliffe hosting will be just as nice, thank you.

  • Showgirls (Channel 4, 11.40pm) “Thanks, I bought it at Versayss.” So bad it’s brilliant.
