What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Graham Norton Show (BBC1, 10.35pm)

The radiant Oscar nominee Hulianne (AKA Julianne) Moore is on the couch tonight, along with Cuba Gooding Jr, Bill Bailey, and our own (kind of) Michael Flatley. Will he be doing an aul jig? We’ll have to wait and find out. Music from Gregory Porter and Laura Mvula. #grahamnorton

Six Nations Rugby: Wales v England (RTÉ2, 7.30pm)

It’s all kicking off tonight as England meet Wales in Cardiff for the first match in the Six Nations championship. Tom McGurk, George Hook, Ronan O’Gara and Shane Horgan are your pundits. Tomorrow, Ireland will take on Italy in Rome. #sixnations

Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (RTÉ2, 10.15pm)

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball. Wisest words ever spoken? Vince Vaughn leads a team of misfits in a dodgeball tournament against evil gym owner Ben Stiller. Silly, rude, and still endlessly quotable, over a decade later.

Sad news for fans of the Zooey Deschanel-fronted comedy: Damon Wayans Jr (AKA Coach) has announced he will be leaving the show after the fourth season ends.

New Girl creator Liz Meriweather said that Wayans is free to return to the show, if he wishes:

We love Damon and are so lucky to have had him return for the past season-and-a-half. We are working on crafting an exit for him that will leave the door open for many more returns.
