Enterprising people are selling The Interview posters for hundreds of dollars online

And people are buying them.

EARLIER THIS WEEK, Sony Pictures cancelled the release of North Korea Film The Interview after hackers threatened attacks on any cinema that screened it.

Hollywood reacted angrily to the decision, with celebrities like Jimmy Kimmel, Judd Apatow and Ben Stiller calling it “un-American” and “a threat to freedom of expression”.

At the moment, there are no plans to release the film at all; no DVDs, no Video On Demand release, nada. we might not ever see this movie, but that hasn’t stopped people paying big bucks to get some memorabilia.

Yes, enterprising folk are selling The Interview posters for ridiculous amounts on eBay – this one sold for a massive $335, while others are going for up to $150.

Well, what with Sony reporting nearly $200m in losses from the cancellation of the movie, someone should make some money off the whole thing.
