MINISTER PAT RABBITTE launched his National Broadband Plan earlier today.
Somewhat inexplicably, the event included him attempting to play Gaelic football and hurling with a number of children. Although it’s not clear what this has to do with high-speed internet access, it did provide some wonderful shots of the Cabinet member.

3 are the supplier of the National Broadband scheme, mind you it is for WiFi 3G Broadband. They even have a special price for the National Broadband Scheme. However for the same price as the National Broadband Scheme they can provide more download capacity on a different scheme. Nice try Pat, but as usual you got it wrong.
Maybe it was the FFailers that implemented it but they, the (FGoulers) are pretty fast in implementing the rest of the rules and regulations that require us to pay more and get less money, actually they exceed in that area so what’s wrong with them implementing something in favour of the citizen for once? Ah yea forgot, money can only flow one way…….go figure
David; Well, they were elected to fix the economy and address our negative balance in the awl books. That’s their focus. So that would be why they are quicker at implementing cuts and making savings. I suspect that the NBS is under a contract so you cant just walk from it.
Minister. Your only a year or so in government. Why the hell don’t we have internet everywhere in Ireland?!?!?! I mean, come on. Rome was built in a day like. Surely Ireland can provide decent working internet to every home in the country. Ill give you till the end of the week, after that, im finished with your party!!!! *waves finger wildly*
Kevin, have a look for the video of Pat doing the rounds, his blanking of the chap talking to him is probable enough to be finished with his party. Engaging with the public isn’t the highest on Pats skill set. Yes yer man was eating into him but for a high level public figure to blank a tax paying citizen of this state is totally wrong. Pat did himself no favours that’s for sure, this little photo shoot won’t gloss over that I tell ya.

Gillian this is about a Minister launching his National Broadband Plan earlier today.
The fact that he decided to use the cover over the cracks in his National Broadband Plan by using the GAA proves how much of a muppet he is.
Our neigbours north of the boarder are getting 4G mobile Broadband next month & the telephone lines in rural areas have just been upgraded to fibre and can achieve speeds of up to 80mbps.
While south of the boarder we have a Minister that thinks providing 30mbps in 3 years is good news. How many IT jobs will le lose before then because of our 3rd world telecommunications network?

Just quoting from the words in the article Gillian. The inexplicable bit refers to the GAA alright, but it’s actually about the National Broadband Plan.
