A Noah screening was cancelled due to a flood in a cinema

Is it a sign?!

CALL IT IRONY. Call it life imitating art. Call it hilarious.

A cinema in Exeter, England was closed due to flooding last Friday, April 4 – the day Russell Crowe’s epic Noah was released.

Though not quite of biblical proportions, the flood was enough to close the cinema for the morning – meaning the first showing of Noah would have to be cancelled.

According to the Exeter Express and Echo, the flood was put down to a faulty ice machine (and not an angry god).

A spokesman for the cinema said:

We can confirm that there was flooding at Vue Exeter on Friday April 4 due to a fault with an ice machine. We are open for business as usual, and are working with engineers to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible.

There were no reports of any ark-building or animals going in two by two in the area.
