THE WOMAN with whom Arnold Schwarzenegger had the affair that led to the birth of a now 14-year-old child – and the end of his marriage to Maria Shriver – has been named by a US website.
Radaronline names the mother of Schwarnegger’s child as 50-year-old Mildred Baena, his former housekeeper.
Schwarzenegger confirmed that the child was born before he began his seven-year stint as governor, saying he “understands and deserves the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family”.

Shriver, who was married to him for 25 years, learned of the affair in January. She was reportedly having dinner with Oprah Winfrey and her children when she heard that her estranged husband was to go public with his infidelity. She has since issued a statement, calling the admission “heartbreaking”.
As a mother my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment.
