THE EVENING IN Dublin city centre was greeted by an unmerciful hailstone shower yesterday just before 8pm. No news there but TheJournal.ie reader Luke Digidave sent us this very atmospheric photo of people dashing from the onslaught at College Green. Ugh.
It’s looking a little nicer around the country this morning, according to this radar image from Met Éireann. That rainfall in the south and southwest, however, “will affect the rest of Munster and south Leinster this morning and move into Connacht and much of north Leinster this afternoon and evening”. Oh well.
