LAST WEEK WE brought you a taster of an impressive Lego model of Heuston Station, built by David Fennell.
The model is now headed for display at Lego World in Copenhagen, and we’ve got some more pics to share with you, courtesy of David Fennell, Lego Ambassador Ronald Vallenduuk and Brick.ie (The Irish Association for Adult Fans of Lego).

That must have taken some effort to go to such detail. I’d say he’s not too happy that IE changed their logo a couple of days after he finished it!
The first version of Heuston was built in 2011 for one of the excellent MRSI exhibitions. It was expanded in 2012 to incorporate the ‘Galway Hooker’ wing. None of the online pictures yet reflect the latest version which has pavements, trees and indeed taxi bays … now time to build the first of those 500 taxis referred to above!
One of our other brick.ie members has built a Luas – pics available on the brick.ie site.
That is superb, amazing that he could even blind the Dublin buses out of lego. All its missing is the Luas :)
