WOMEN ARE STILL paid less than men in Hollywood, according to Forbes magazine’s latest rich list.
The actresses who make up the top 10 earned a total $200 million compared to the $361 million brought in by the top 10 men.
But it seems the women of Twilight are treated equally as the list-topper Kristen Stewart was paid the same as her male co-star Robert Pattinson.
Here are the other nine women who joined her on Hollywood’s most-wanted list:

she actually has 2 looks. Blue Steel AND Magnum. As an aside, I definitely would, despite the fact that I dont find her remotely attractive. maybe she has a good looking werewolf/vampire/unicorn/dolphin mate, in which case I also would. Good looking or not, I probably would.

Is not a good actress. Maybe she will be someday but right now she just isn’t. Shes popular and bankable and they throw money at her like it’s nothing. I also have an issue with the word earned. What exactly did she do to earn that money. Find a cure for cancer, you earned your money. Spend all day on a cold wet building site putting up a house, you earned your money. Spending six months playing make believe and being pampered, you have NOT earned your millions.
How do you know she’s vacuous and talentless? Kirsten Stewart seems quite genuine, intelligent and uninterested in fame. All these people obviously have many redeeming features to get themselves to such high levels in their jobs.
The movie industry, as everyone knows generates huge amounts of money so obviously the figureheads of the movies make huge amounts, it just naturally follows.
To (probably incorrectly) quote Dirty Harry “Deserve ain’t got nothing to do with it”.
Surprise surprise, an article about highly paid women is full of comments about horse faces and if they ‘would’.
As if you ‘would’ even get a look in.
re charlize theron : she is quite high maintenance by all accounts and a bit of a pain, so I probably wouldnt do her. However, if she were to reform and show genuine remorse for her past, I probably would do her. Demonstration of a willingness to perform certain unsavory acts would seal the deal though. Ball firmly in your court Char.

All that money – and all Kristin Stewart seems to do in her movies is breathe through her nose. It’s a shame that it’s only commercial actresses on this list (when was the last time a Cameron Diaz movie was a great success, no matter how well she’s paid for them – “Bad Teacher” and “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” were both flops – the same with Julia Roberts (Duplicity, Eat, Pray, Love, Larry Crowne) – indeed most of the others have had very uneven careers in the past five or so years, apart from Kristen Wiig who’s on the rise, Sandra Bullock who’s only made one unfairly rubbished film since her double whammy of “The Blind Side” and “The Proposal” (“All About Steve” is conveniently forgotten) and Meryl Streep, by virtue of being Meryl Streep – and let’s face it, “The Iron Lady” was very rightly trashed but her mimicry won out, in the end. And I actually quite like Charlize. If this list was based on talent and commitment to films that mightn’t necessarily register with audiences, then Glenn Close, Julianne Moore, Annette Bening, Frances McDormand, Laura Linney, Kristin Scott Thomas, Juliette Binoche and Patricia Clarkson (to name just a few) would surely be recognized.
