THREE MORE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN killed in continued protests in Kashmir, Reuters reports. A police official said his force opened fire on demonstrators when their efforts to disperse the crowd failed. The unrest is a combination of lengthy unrest over India’s rule of Kashmir and protests over a US pastor’s threats to burn the Qu’ran last weekend. Today is the fifth straight day of rioting.
