It looks to be have been as grim as ever.

Last night, Irish website AfterDark.ie shared this charming photo of an Irish flag spotted at the festival on their Facebook and wrote, “Ah Ireland it takes one person to disgrace a nation.”

Wait for it…

*facepalm*

The quote on the poster is a play on a Conor McGregor line, “We are not here to take part, we are here to take over,” but with added pills references.

The post has received over 10,600 likes and counting in the 12 hours since it was posted.

And a debate in the comments is raging over whether it actually is a disgrace or not.

On the one hand…

How is this disgracing a nation you uptight snobby c**t

And on the other…

What kind of a stupid turnip would go to the trouble of printing a message like that on a national flag ?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

At this point, it’s unclear who took the photo or where it was sourced from. If you know, please get in touch with us!
