Together with some of his Ocean’s Eleven co-stars, Clooney founded “Not on Our Watch”, an organisation which aims to draw attention to humanitarian issues and “atrocities around the world.”
Clooney, who won an Oscar in 2006 for his supporting role in Syriana, was twice nominated for an Emmy when he starred in hit medical drama ER.

GEORGE CLOONEY drew in the crowds as he arrived at a Milan court to testify in fraud case on Friday.
Three people were in court accused of using Clooney’s name to promote a line of clothing without his permission. The “GC Exclusive by George Clooney” line was marketed in 2008.
Clooney testified through the help of a translator.
He said that he felt was important to testify in person as his fans stood to be exploited by the fraud.
The presiding judge – who said that the courtroom seemed like a film set with the Clooney present – banned filming in the court room, which was predominately female.
