POLICE IN BALTIMORE SAY they have arrested a woman who appeared in the HBO crime series the Wire.

Thirty-year-old Felicia ‘Snoop’ Pearson, who played a fictional killer of the same name in the show, was one of some 30 people arrested in an early morning police raid.

Drug Enforcement Agents participated in the raid, but police have not said what the charges she faces are.

The Washington Post reports that Pearson’s street cred led to her being cast in the Wire, when one of the series’ main actors spotted her in a club in Baltimore and suggested her for a role. Four years ago Pearson claimed the show had saved her life.

In 1996, Pearson was sentenced to eight years in prison for second-degree murder, according to the Baltimore Sun. She had recently refused to testify at a murder trial.
