What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Gogglebox (Channel 4, 9pm)

What did Leon and June, Scarlett Moffat and the rest of the gang make of the week’s telly? We’re guessing this week’s episode was put together before last night’s Leaders’ Debate, but at least that means there’s a cracking show lined up for next week too. #Gogglebox

Eurovision’s Greatest Hits (BBC One, 9pm)

If Johnny Logan and Linda Martin don’t feature heavily, we’re going on strike. #Eurovision

Neighbours 30th Anniversary Special: The Stars Reunite (RTÉ 2, 7.45pm)

Dennis and Tim Phillips host this look back at 30 years of the Aussie soap.  Cast members past and present come together to relive memorable moments from the past three decades. #Neighbours30

Everybody’s talking about… Nidge and Walter White

It’s been confirmed that Tom Vaughan Lawlor, aka Nidge from Love/Hate is to star alongside Bryan Cranston, aka Walter White from Breaking Bad in a new film.

According to the Mirror the pair will star together in The Infiltrator, about a US Customs official played by Cranston.

Vaughan-Lawlor appears to have a fairly small part, listed in the ‘other cast’ section on IMDB. However, he is expected to share screen time with Cranston, as he plays his supervisor in the film.

Or switch over for…

  • Road Trip (TV3, 11.30) Isn’t this the one where Tom Green shifts a mouse?
  • The Late Late Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm) Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham is among the guests
  • Alan Carr: Chatty Man (Channel 4, 10pm) Noel Fielding and Frank Lampard are among the guests
  • The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (TG4, 9.20pm) Uneccessarily long title, if you ask us
  • 17 Again (RTÉ 2, 10.45) You won’t be in the pub, so you might as well watch this Matthew Perry/Zac Efron body swap film

Ruby from GBBO came out on Twitter, and inspired loads of other people to come out too

George R R Martin just released a new Game of Thrones chapter, and Sansa’s the surprise star
