The Godfather III (RTÉ 2, 9pm)

The third instalment of Coppola’s trilogy, featuring Al Pacino’s legendary performance. #TheGodfather

[IMPORTANT EDIT: We originally mistakenly thought it was The Godfather II which was airing on RTÉ 2, and called it 'arguably the best instalment' (which it is, arguably). Please, forgive us]

cry

The Voice UK (BBC One, 7pm)

Will we learn more about the mystery of Rita Ora? Will anyone cry? Will any of the judges do embarrassing chair dancing? Only one way to find out. #TheVoiceUK #TheVoice

The World’s Best Diet (Channel 4, 7.30pm)

This is a repeat but still worth a watch to see if that paleo carry on is all it’s cracked up to be.  Jimmy Doherty and Kate Quilton jetting around the world sampling some of the least and most healthy diets. #WorldsBestDiet

Everybody’s talking about… The #WestWing reunion

Yes, everyone’s favourite walkers and talkers got back together this week. But why?

Well it turns out that CJ, Josh and co were on hand to help the White House Big Block of Cheese Day, which is actually a thing.

This is the White House’s second year to reignite the Big Block of Cheese tradition, which in a West Wing season one episode saw interest groups gain otherwise impossible access to members of the White House staff.

Obama and co are hosting a virtual Big Bock of Cheese Day on 21 January. #AskTheWH

  • Take Me Out (ITV, 8.05pm) Car crash telly
  • The Saturday Night Show (RTÉ One, 9.50 pm) You know you want to hate watch and send sarky tweets. Go on
  • The Cube (TV3, 8pm) Seriously addictive game show
