Bressie’s Teenage Kicks (RTÉ 2, 10pm) 

Noted looker and mentor Bressie and his rap group (formed by scouring different communities in Limerick) has major obstacles to overcome before their first studio session, and when they get behind the mic. #TeenageKicks 

My Big Fat Gypsy Christmas (Channel 4, 9pm)

Yes, they’re still making this series. This Christmas special features a festive wedding and a trip to Ireland. #MBFGC

Everybody’s talking about… #The Newsroom

There’s controversy over a scene in the latest episode of  Aaron Sorkin’s The Newsroom, in which a rape victim is interviewed.

Newsroom writer Alena Smith has taken to Twitter to express her anger at the storyline:

Smith has said that she found the whole thing “quite boring”:

I wanted to fight with Aaron about the NSA, not gender. I didn’t like getting cast in his outdated role.
