The Syndicate (BBC 1, 9pm)

This is a new series surrounding five supermarket workers in the UK who win a lottery syndicate. It’s now on its third series, starting tonight, with each episode centering around one of the characters and what they do with the money. This time it’s set in Yorkshire and Lenny Henry stars.

Kitchen Hero Donal’s Irish Feast( RTE 1, 8.30pm)

Donal visits Baronscourt Venison in Omagh, which produces venison from wild Japanese Sika deer. The ABSOLUTE NOTIONS. It only gets worse from there. A perfect one to eat your beans on toast to.

Empire (e4, 9pm)

If you’re not watching Empire by now, you should be. The drama is set around a family feuding over successful record company Empire Entertainment, set up by Lucious Lyon and his then-wife Cookie. Taraji P Henson’s portrayal of the scorned ex wife will have you screaming yaaaas. Courtney Love guest stars tonight.
