What to watch on TV tonight: Monday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Big Lebowski (TG4, 9.30pm)

The eminently quotable Coen Brothers classic is on TG4 tonight. Kick back in your jelly sandals and say the dialogue in unison with The Dude. And if you have yet to see the film, then by God, what are you waiting for? #TheBigLebowski

Above The Law (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

During the Troubles, over 6,000 people were subjected to so-called “punishment attacks” at the hands of the paramilitary. In this hour long documentary, we hear from the victims of such attacks. Promises to be powerful. #AboveTheLaw

Republic of Telly (RTÉ 2, 10pm)

In tonight’s episode, the series skewers everything from Homeland to The Voice of Ireland presenter Eoghan McDermott. Vogue Williams even makes an appearance, although she won’t drinking her own wee again. #RepublicOfTelly

Everyone’s talking about… The Affair

The Affair / YouTube

The Golden Globe-winning drama series has been picked up by Sky Atlantic with the series set to air here and in the UK this May.

The show stars Dominic West and Ruth Wilson as two married people who embark on an affair in the wake of tragedy. Yes, there are gratuitous arse shots.
