Tonight, Brendan chats with Irish mammies and jockeys alike as he is joined on the couch by Ruby Walsh and Colm O’Regan. Brendan will also be joined by designer Helen Cody and GAA star Conor Cusack. Not exactly Noel Gallagher, but it’ll do.
Good Vibrations (BBC Two, 10.30pm)
This wonderful film is based on the life of Terri Hooley, a record store owner who played a key role in establishing Belfast’s punk rock scene. If you’ve ever moshed to Teenage Kicks or Alternative Ulster, you’ll get a kick out of this.
The Following (Sky Atlantic, 9pm)
The third season of the psychological thriller returns and Kevin Bacon is back hunting down more serial killers. Things might get creepy.
Everyone’s talking about… Homeland
The show is in for some pretty drastic changes, according to executive producer Alex Gansa. Spoilers ahead.
Gansa was speaking at television festival PaleyFest and revealed that season five of the CIA drama will leap forward two-and-a-half years and Carrie Mathison will no longer be working as an intelligence agent.
Gansa also confirmed that the new season would be shot in Europe, “probably in Germany”.
