What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Then Comes Marriage (RTÉ Two, 9pm)

In this new take on the wedding reality show, RTÉ puts three Irish couples through their paces at a pre-marriage boot camp. They assemble furniture, go to therapy and generally get up in each other’s grills. Expect brains to melt and freak-outs to be had.

Jason Byrne’s Snaptastic Show (TV3, 9pm)

Jason Byrne hosts this chat show in which he invites celebrities on to discuss their lives and delve into their family photographs. On tonight’s show, he is joined by three guests – Deirdre O’Kane, John Bishop and Simon Delaney. No doubt there’ll be some embarrassing childhood snaps to sneer at.

Charlie Brooker’s Weekly Wipe (BBC Two, 10pm)

Because the world always makes a little more sense when put through Charlie Brooker’s lens. #WeeklyWipe

Everyone’s talking about… House of Cards

The show’s third season appeared briefly on Netflix yesterday. All thirteen episodes were accidentally set live three weeks before it is scheduled to debut and later pulled.

People freaked out, but the best response may have come from the show itself.

Or flick over for…

  • Shame (Film Four, 11pm) Michael Fassbender as a sex addict. That’s all.
  • Modern Times: 24 Hour Parcel People (BBC Two, 9pm) Excellently titled documentary on the work of couriers, drivers, etc. #ParcelPeople
  • Cucumber (Channel 4, 9pm) The raunchy comedy continues.
  • Fortitude (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) As does the Sky drama.
