What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Crumlin (RTÉ 1, 10.15pm)

A new series following the staff and patients of Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin, Ireland’s largest pediatric hospital. This episode will focus on the cardiology dept, as we visit a baby with his heart on the right side, and a 13-year-old with a potentially fatal abnormality in their heart. You’ll get a new appreciation for Ireland’s healthcare workers.

First Dates (Channel 4, 10pm)

This massively addictive dating show is back for a new series. The concept is simple… get two singletons who’ve never met, send them on a date, and tape the whole thing. It’s cringe, funny, sweet, and mortifying all at once.

Hunted (Channel 4, 9pm)

In today’s tech-obsessed world, a worrying amount of what we do is monitored. You can’t walk across the street, withdraw cash, make a phonecall or browse the internet without being detected. This show sets the challenge to simply disappear, with British people attempting to go on the run and avoid a group of hunters attempting to track them down.

Everyone is talking about… Jimmy Fallon and Ellen DeGeneres’ lip-sync battle

In perhaps one of the best lip-sync battle to date, Jimmy Kimmel took on Ellen DeGeneres and she absolutely nailed it with Bitch Better Have My Money by Rihanna.

World’s Weirdest Events (BBC 2, 8pm) Does exactly what it says on the tin.

Location, Location, Location (Channel 4, 8pm) Nosing around homes, our favourite thing.
