What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Late Late Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

Tonight’s show will probably be worth watching if only to see how Ryan Tubridy interacts with Naomi Campbell. Tubs will also be chatting to comedian Al Porter, Aslan’s Christy Dignam and economist David McWilliams. So now. #LateLate

Gogglebox (Channel 4, 9pm)

REJOICE FOR GOGGLEBOX IS BACK! Who would have thought that watching other people watch telly would be so compelling? And yet here we are. Tonight we’re treated to their thoughts on Strictly Come Dancing and the (relatively tame) Lady Chatterley’s Lover. We can’t wait. #gogglebox

Alan Carr: Chatty Man (Channel 4, 10.05pm)

If you fancy flicking over from The Late Late Show, then Alan Carr will be joined on the couch by Tom Hardy (!), Demi Lovato and the cast of This is England ’90. Please God bring up Tom Hardy’s MySpace photos. #chattyman

Everyone’s talking about… F**k Cancer

RTÉ2 / YouTube

The trailer for Louise McSharry’s documentary F**k Cancer (pronounced ‘Eff Cancer’ by the RTÉ 2 announcer) is here.

The documentary airs next week as part of RTÉ 2′s Reality Bites series and follows the 2fm presenter’s battle with cancer.

Promises to be moving and ace and brilliant. #f**kcancer

Or flick over for…

  • What’s Your Number? (RTÉ One, 10pm) Silly rom-com with Anna Faris and Chris Evans. (Not that Chris Evans.)
  • Seven Pounds (TV3, 10.30pm) Will Smith plays a man out to save the lives of seven people.
  • The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice (BBC Two, 9pm) For when you can’t get enough of those soggy bottoms…
  • The Bling Ring (Film Four, 9pm) Teens robbing celebs. What more could you ask for?
