What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Late Late Show (RTÉ 1, 9.35pm)

Your entire timeline will be watching it, so you may as well too. Guest tonight include Oscar-nominated director Jim Sheridan, Fair City stars Bryan Murray and Una Crawford O’Brien, Amanda Byram, and music from the stage show Once. Oh, great.

The Graham Norton Show (BBC 1, 11.15pm)

Tonight, Graham has got Michael McIntyre, Simon Pegg, Kylie Minogue, and Brandon Flowers in da haus. We can only hope for another gas Irishman in the red chair, chatting about walking in on nude people in hotels.

(500) Days of Summer (Channel 4, 12.25am)

Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon Levitt star in this quirky opposite-of-romance comedy. Their love story is told through some time hopping around the 500 days it takes Levitt to begin and get over his failed relationship with the ‘girl of his dreams’. If that’s not enticing enough, it’s got a great soundtrack.

Or switch over for….

American Reunion (TV 3, 10.30pm) If mindless and crude high school comedy is your thing, you’ll LOVE this.

I Love You, Man (BBC 1, 12.30am) Paul Rudd and Jason Segel star in this comedy about a frantic search for a best man.

Later… with Jools Holland (BBC 2, 11.05pm) Paul Weller, John Misty, Lianne La Havas and Curtis Harding all appear.

Alan Carr Chatty Man (Channel 4, 10pm) Alan is joined by Billie Piper, Cahrlie XCX, and comedian Romesh Ranga. Because we want to, because we want to.
