Here in the west we should harvest the rain and use it domestically…then we wouldn’t have a big bill to pay if big Phil brings in water charges!

I love our weather including the cold and rain. Try living in a warmer climate for a change and you might. Hange your mind. We have a beautiful. Outrun as a direct result of our weather. Be grateful and over up.

Bad and all as these deluges are, I can’t help wondering how our ancestors would have looked at the threat of torrential rain and flooding. It’s entirely feasible, that they might have been seriously concerned as to the ability of an island, to soak up limitless quantities of water, before sinking into the abyss of the Atlantic ocean.
Ah Paul you know what I mean, yeah I agree there’s a lot of grey around which can be depressing, but think of those lovely trees changing colour in autumn, those crisp cold mornings in the winter complete with roaring fire when reading the Sunday papers…..
In Aruba tonight, can’t sleep with the sun-burn on my back… Back to it next week though…
