It has always been obvious that Jennifer Hudson comes from the Whitney Houston school of singing and last night she expressed her emotion at the passing of her teacher – the best way she knew how.
Here is her emotional rendition of Dolly Parton’s I Will Always Love You from The Bodyguard soundtrack, sang at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards in Hollywood last night. Blinking back tears, Hudson sings the last line as “Whitney, we will always love you.”
