Watch: Barack Obama sings blues classic with Mick Jagger and BB King

IT WAS A concert which featured some of the most famous blues musicians on the planet – plus the president of the United States.

Barack Obama (briefly) took the microphone at a White House concert to honour blues music last night to join in on a version of ‘Sweet Home Chicago’ with Mick Jagger and BB King. The president had been heckled by blues guitarist Buddy Guy, who said he had heard Obama singing an Al Green song last month and urged the president to sing a verse.

If November’s presidential election doesn’t go Obama’s way, looks like he could have a whole other career lined up ahead of him…

obama has been a huge disappointment to everyone who believed in him , ” change you can believe in”

he has done everything bad that the previous administration did and worse, increased military spending , appointed dozens of lobbyists to government positions which he promised he would not do, no repeal of patriot acts etc.

i personally think that he must have been sworn in as president and gone up to the oval office and the cia hypnotist was waiting there … much less messy that the JFK approach…

He pursued and got Bin Laden. Unemployment is at a 4 year low in the USA (still more to do though) and the stock market is back to pre-crisis levels. The economy there is gathering pace and we can see the results of that with continued FDI from the USA to Ireland. He also finished the war in Iraq. Throw end the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and protecting women’s access to contraceptives to the mix and it’s pretty clear he has done a decent job. He in not the messiah but he never said he was.

Definitely wouldn’t be too a fun song anyway. Probably some sort of religious “Feel Guilty for Your Sins” carry on.

Ron Paul, seriously, domestically he would kill the American poor.

If you’ll notice this was posted in the entertainment section of the website.

And as for your Ron Paul ideas. The man is spouting the type of politics that were big in the 19th century. The reason they aren’t big in the 21st century is because they didn’t work, we took the good parts and moved on. The only thing admirable about him is his foreign policy. Domestically he would be a disaster for the ordinary American.

      Now back to the entertainment!
