SAMUEL L JACKSON is well-known for playing hard man roles from Pulp Fiction to, er, Snakes on a Plane.

So it’s a bit surprising – maybe even alarming – that he has shown up in a video wearing a pink wig, singing and bopping his head advertising the upcoming Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.

The BET Awards were set up over ten years ago to celebrate African Americans and other minorities in the entertainment industry.

Jackson is presenting the awards this Sunday. No confirmation of whether or not he’ll be wearing the wig:
