They were shouting “Cops – TV – Neo-Nazis, all the bastards work together” and other similar chants. As the TV presenter notes in the end, the protesters attacked him because the station (which by the way is a local TV station) had invited a spokesperson of the far-right group “Chrisi Avgi” on one of their programmes the week before. The interviewee on the day of the incident had nothing to do with the TV station or the far-right, that’s why he managed to make a ‘clean’ escape.

He interviewed an extreme right-winger, and got caught in the line of fire, of sorts.

Some of the media are just as bad as the government especially the tv lot, they are just paid off little puppets who don’t care about anyone else long as they are getting paid. Great to see people standing up for themselves and not rolling over like little dogs!

Oh, so now freedom of speech means anything anyone says is free from interruption by all but the state, and suddenly Greece’s financial situation is not due to the actions of reckless bankers and gamblers, and the inept selfishness of the EU and IMF, but due to people voicing their anger (however immature) by throwing groceries.

Typical FG mantra deck the little guy!! Try be level headed when your government takes your pension that you worked hard for all your life, take taxes to pay EU big wigs for lending in the first place.
