Victoria’s Secret has finally opened in Dublin Airport… behind security

The US lingerie giant has arrived in Ireland… but you need to be leaving to shop there.

VICTORIA’S SECRET HAS finally opened in Ireland. Everyone rejoice. Women all over the country will be ditching their Pennys finest and splashing out on the infamous lingerie.

But hold on, it’s in the airport, in the Terminal 2 departures lounge. Behind security. You need a TICKET. Just to clarify, you have to literally leave the country if you want some fancy pants and sugary body spray. Cry.

The store will also be focusing on beauty products and accessories rather than the lingerie they’re known for, but fancy pants will definitely be available. Twitter isn’t happy and some are already planning their route outta here all in the honourable quest for some sparkly lip-gloss.

As a nation, we should collectively take this up with Athy woman, Margaret McDonald, who was recently appointed president of the company. She moved to America to take up the role so besides visiting the airport often, she can avail of the hundreds of US stores in her new home. WELL for some.

On the bright side, an online store is now open. But no wait, you still have to be flying, or at least have a friend who is to pick your purchases up for you.

OH WELL, we’re just gonna have to book a holiday.
