What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The X Factor (TV3, 7.45pm)

The audition stages continue, as another rake of hopefuls shuffle out in front of Simon, Cheryl, Nick and Rita dreaming of making the big time. Might we see another “emotional” moment from one of the judges, as a story tugs at our heartstrings? They’ll make it entertaining, anyway. #XFactor

Dragon’s Den (BBC Two, 8pm)

The last in the current series of the Den, so you know they will have a few good pitches lined up. Tension will be high as  #DragonsDen

Primal Fear (RTÉ 2, 12.05am)

It might be a bit late for a Sunday night, but Primal Fear is a rip roaring legal thriller, with a young Ed Norton putting in one of the best performances of his career. It could be worth the bleary eyes in the morning – and you can just claim you were at Electric Picnic if anyone asks #PrimalFear

Everyone’s talking about… Daniel’s appearance on Strictly last night

It was only the launch show, but it was confirmed that Kristina Rihanoff would be Daniel’s partner (although that had been leaked already) and there was plenty of chat about his debut:

To new fans:

Wee Daniel being on Strictly will certainly make it more interesting this year.

Or flick over for…

  • Tomorrow Never Dies (RTÉ 2, 5.50pm) A classic Pierce Brosnan-era Bond flick. It couldn’t be more applicable to a lazy Sunday evening (after the match, too).
  • Notting Hill (UTV/ITV, 10.15pm) As romcoms go, Hugh Grant’s charmingly befuddled bookshop owner is one of the better lead characters in the genre.
  • E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial (ITV2, 6.40pm) To complete a night of nostalgic movies, ET will take you back to your childhood of quaoting ”phone home” every few minutes. And it will be lovely.
