What to watch on TV tonight: Tuesday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Homeland (RTÉ2, 9pm)

In the eighth episode of season 4, Carrie organises a last-ditch operation, while Lockhart and Martha do their utmost to stall Inter-Services Intelligence. #homeland

Ireland’s Worst Weather (TV3, 10.30pm)

This programme examines some of Ireland’s more extreme weather events – from the infamous Big Freeze of 2010, when Ireland basically shut down, to the flooding of 2011, and more recent storms. Fingers crossed we get out of 2014 intact.

Connected (RTÉ2, 10.30pm)

Two back to back episodes of the self-shot documentary series, which ends tonight. The first sees Nicole and Alanna celebrating their 21st birthdays, while Elayne battles the nerves ahead of a headline gig. The second brings all the girls together to reflect on their experiences over the past six months. It’ll be sad to see this thoughtful, compelling show go. #connected

The latest casting news confirms what we all suspected – Rachel McAdams (AKA Regina George) and Taylor Kitsch (AKA Tim Riggins) will round out the main cast.

Meanwhile, Colin Farrell has been spotted on set, sporting a serious moustache, floppy hair and a bolo tie. An…interesting look for Col.
