What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Britain’s Got Talent (TV3, 8pm)

How do you top a ‘talking’ dog? Well tonight’s contestants will certainly try. The new episode features singing nuns, dance troupes, hula-hoopers and a Hypnodog. That’s a hypnotising dog, by the way. #bgt

Irish Dancing Triplets (RTÉ2, 8pm)

The story of Ashley and Nathan Hawkes, siblings who are in the top 20 Irish dancers in the world, and their triplet Francis, who has cerebral palsy. Despite this, Francis never misses a single one of their performances. Prepare to blub.

No Country For Old Men (RTÉ2, 9pm)

Go from Irish dancing triplets to Javier Bardem as a ruthless hitman killing everyone who gets in his way (with an episode of Father Ted in between). Standard.

Everyone’s talking about: Punk’d

Those who remember 2000s MTV shows fondly, rejoice – hidden camera show Punk’d is returning to television.

US network BET is bringing it back, though there’s no word yet on who is presenting. It’s either Ashton Kutcher, or we walk. Reminisce on the good old days with this amazing prank on Justin Timberlake:
