What to watch on TV tonight: Monday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

After Care - The Story of Ireland’s Care Leavers (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

This new programme tells the story of young adults who are coming out of State care and into independent living upon turning 18. We meet Chantelle (right), who hopes to train as a care worker, and Tony from Kildare, who is sleeping on friends’ sofas and in doorways until he can find a home. Tough but essential viewing. #aftercare

The Grammy Awards (RTÉ2, 7.30pm)

All the action from last night’s award ceremony, with performances from Ed Sheeran, Rihanna, Madonna and Sam Smith. Plus, plenty of Kanye funny business. #grammys

Public Enemies (TG4, 9.30pm)

Ah, that time when a Johnny Depp-fronted film was a guaranteed box office smash. Here, he plays real-life gangster John Dillinger, America’s most wanted criminal in the 1930s. Christian Bale is the FBI agent trying to bring him down.
