The Talented Mr Ripley (TG4, 9.30pm)

Matt Damon stars as the very charming sociopath Tom Ripley in this tense thriller. After agreeing to convince a young man (Jude Law) to come back home to the US from Europe, Ripley grows jealous of his lavish lifestyle and decides to assume his identity.

Everyone’s talking about… Stevi finally leaving the #XFactor

Stevi Ritchie was this year’s joke contestant – and somehow made it to the final six, despite the audience (and the judges) baying for his blood each week. On Saturday night, he performed this Egyptian-themed version of Elton John’s I’m Still Standing.

That sent him into the bottom two with favourite Andrea Faustini, and he was undoubtedly out on his ear. Everyone gloated:
