What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Russell Crowe on The Late Late Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

After a grim enough episode last week, the Late Late is on form tonight with Russell Crowe, Ryan O’Neal and Rose of Tralee Maria Walsh hitting the couch. Please Ryan, PLEASE ask Russell about that skirmish with an Irish journalist at a premiere last year. #latelate

Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion (ITV2, 9pm)

“I cut my foot before and my shoe is filling up with blood.” Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino star as two women who decide to fake glitzy careers to impress former classmates at their high school reunion. A cult classic.

Alan Carr: Chatty Man (Channel 4, 10pm)

Tonight’s Graham Norton is just highlights from the series gone by, so plump for Chatty Man tonight. Alan is joined by Rita Ora, Ricky Wilson, Tom Jones and Will.I.Am from The Voice UK, as well as Antonio Banderas and Steph and Dom from Gogglebox. STEPH AND DOM, PEOPLE. #chattyman

Everyone’s talking about: #TrueDetective

A few more details are emerging about the second season of the hit drama, which will star Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn and Rachel McAdams.

According to Esquire, the season will kick off with the dead body of a corrupt politician being found with ‘Satanic symbols’ carved into his chest. Farrell’s character will be brought on to track the murderer down.

Also - some fans may be pleased to hear that there will be a “colossal orgy scene” starring two porn stars at some stage in the proceedings. Hmm.
