Tommy Bowe is firmly off the market... It's the Dredge

Get out your fascinators. That, and the rest of the day’s celebrity FILTH.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt – from the top to the very bottom.

Ulster rugby hunk Tommy Bowe is engaged. He popped the question to his long-term girlfriend Lucy Whitehouse (who’s a former Miss Wales) over the Easter weekend.

The pair met in Cardiff back in 2011 and Lucy later moved to Ireland to be with Tommy. The sports star has joked that their relationship is a bit like that of Gavin and Stacey, as Lucy used to live in Stacey’s hometown of Barry. Aw.

We’re really happy for them. Really. *sob* (Irish Mirror)

Sorry everyone – the White House are not planning on deporting Justin Bieber. After the popster was arrested for egging a neighbours house and street racing, over 270,000 people signed a petition asking the government to send him back to his home country of Canada.

Obama’s administration has agreed to respond to any petition on the White House website that receives over 100,000 signatures, and here’s what they said about this:

Sorry to disappoint, but we won’t be commenting on this one.
The We the People terms of participation state that, “to avoid the appearance of improper influence, the White House may decline to address certain procurement, law enforcement, adjudicatory, or similar matters properly…in its response to a petition.”
So we’ll leave it to others to comment on Mr. Bieber’s case, but we’re glad you care about immigration issues. Because our current system is broken. Too many employers game the system by hiring undocumented workers, and 11 million people are living in the shadows.

So Biebs can stay in the US. Hmph. (Gawker)

PRINCE GEORGE UPDATE! He got to play with an endangered bilby (it looks like a cross between a rabbit and a kangaroo) at a zoo in Sydney.

“I am your king. Gimme dat.”

Those pudgy little legs. We love him.
