This is what they do with lemons in France

And oranges… some of the stunning constructions in the Lemon Festival of Menton.

DON’T ASK US how this festival has passed us by all these years – how could we not have known that citrus fruit could be such a creative muse?

These are some of the many colourful pictures taken by AP photographer Lionel Cironneau from the Menton Lemon festival in southern France in past years. Juicy.

  • Ok, you may not operate first response tactics and I appreciate that very much. . but I will send you the most popular manuals on the internet for operating blog/comment sites, and links to those that run schools on the subject. From that I have surmised my ‘suspicions’- which in all intent may well be wrong in this instance – as the word suspicion does invoke an element of doubt. But considering the type of ‘personalized’ comment made by someone whom I doubt very much ‘knows me at all’, then I really doubt whether I be bothering in future – a lesson learned.

  • Oh David Whelan . . sad you can’t see a joke on a Sunday . . I’m suspicious that personal digg-comments such as this from pictureless bloggers are staff from the journal beefing up the response ???

    • Hi @Martin Critten – if you have a specific piece of evidence to prove that wild accusation you direct here at TheJournal.ie staff, I’d like to hear it.
If you’re just annoyed because someone disagreed with a comment of yours, then leave us out of it, thanks. We receive 1,500-plus comments a day on the site – we have no need to “beef up” responses.
