I would wager that plenty of people do, especially on a rainy afternoon.

Never understood why people think its unusual to go to the cinema on your own.
No waiting for others to show up and no trying to find empty seats for everyone to sit together.
You go to see a film, not to chat to your friends during it.

Actually, there’s less arsing around when you go by yourself. You can just see the film you want.
