A FIVE-BEDROOM house for €6.5 million? The Russians are coming, a house sold in Ballsbridge last month, it was on the market back in 2005 for €30 million a Russian billionaire bought it for €9 million.
and its household charge for 2012 was……€100. go figure
This was my great granddads house , Martin Walton he set up waltons music shop in town and fought in the 1916 rising :)
The rich have not been affected by the recession. That’s for lesser folk.
For the rich Ireland has become a playground, now they’ve got all these windfall payments from Anglo & Co. they’re just having fun bargain shopping. Still, it’s nice for the Irish peasants to see how the new aristocracy will be living – like Downton Abbey only set in 2012 and real.
