COLIN FARRELL’S NEW film The Lobster is competing for the Palme D’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
It was made last year on location in Dublin and Kerry with backing from the Irish Film Board, and also features Rachel Weisz, Jon C Reilly and Ashley Jensen.
The Lobster had its premiere at the French festival last night and it’s safe to say it made quite the impression.

The film is tipped by Paddy Power to take the presigious Palme d’Or at Cannes, an honour previously held by Pulp Fiction, The Pianist and Blue is the Warmest Colour.
