Don’t get me wrong I LOVE a good white bread ‘n’ butter with cheese and onion tayto sandwich but I recently discovered (when all the cheese and onion were gone from the oul christmas multi box of tayto) that salt and vinegar tayto with grated charliville cheese is pretty savage as well….just saying!

If I’m feeling a bit posh definitely King, but if I’m sitting in the pub it has to be Tayto. Still, O’Donnell’s crisps are the best damn thing ever. Oh if only I weren’t on a diet – alright, sure one little bag won’t kill me will it?

As an Inchicore man (where they used to make them) I’m going to have to say King.

Taytos vary in flavour too much. King are very consistant

Pub crisps are nice, I hate tayto cheese and onion but the salt and vinegar is nice. The crisps in the 90′s were the best though. Mummies,Curry chips, hot lips etc.

I have to say after seeing the article on crisp sambos, I’m craving some good old Brennan’s bread and a package o King. Nothing here in the US compares!

King were lovely years ago (70′s+80′s) but I would still eat them over Tayto any day with Brennans bread.

Sure it can only be tayto, when we used to come over as kids for the summer we’d always fill the car up on the way home with as much tayto, silvermints and cidona as we could fit in and now that I live here I have developed quite the tayto habit!!

Always had to have a packet with my lunch time sandwich. But with the help CA (Crips Anonymous) I kicked the habit. I haven’t eaten a packet in about 3 years. I think I’d get sick if I eat a packet now. :)

Regular Tayto vs King: King are a bit sharper, but isn’t there something historical about Tayto or “taytas” that just helps them pip the opposition?

I just love a good bag of crisps, my favourite would have to be Spuddy’s cheese & onion from Aldi and at 99cent for a 6 pack I’d recommend anyone to try them once.

I voted King but didn’t think they’d be as popular, I find Tayto to be a bit strong, like by the end of the bag you’re sick of em and they’re quite greasy, King on the other hand seem milder and I could eat 2 or 3 bags in one night.
