Only iron my shirts

I always look for the ex[pression “non-Iron” when I’m shopping for clothes.

The only irons I need are in my golf bag.

I’d like to see what percentage don’t wear any clothes :) Maybe a future question could be Do people actually use loyalty cards on a daily basis?cos I never seem 2 carry mine with me when I’m shopping

Growing up in an African country meant everything had to be ironed. Bedsheets, duvet covers even underwear. All thanks to these nasty little critters:

A mate of mine used to work in a bank in London a few years back. He had to wear a suit every day and absolutely hated ironing shirts, or anything else for that matter.

So when ironing his shirts he would only iron the parts that were visible while wearing the suit jacket all day, i.e. the neck, around the buttons and about half an inch of the cuffs.

Pure genius.

I didn’t used to bother when the kids were babies just got all jersey material clothing and jeans but now that one has started school have to iron the uniform so just get stuck into all the clothes while I’m at it, kind of thereputic really..

No my mam does, obviously.

i had an iron once but i gave it away. its much easier just to hang out your cloths straight away and let the wind do the ironing, it doesnt take long in this weather

Have to admit ! i do very little ironing because the thoughts of it puts me off, i do everything else no problem it’s one of those silly pet hates, when on a rare occasion i do iron ( one or two things) the Family are so delighted i feel terribly guilty and tell myself i will iron regularly , still have not but will …someday…

My cleaner does the ironing. And my bed linen gets pressed in the dry cleaners – too big and awkward to iron.

And all the people who voted “I wear no clothes” are hilarious! So funny and unpredictable!

I heard if you hang your clothes on the line outside to dry that little midgets that are unseen to the human eye attach to your clothes and live there….and are only killed by ironing! I still like to iron my clothes despite that…can’t stand the crinkles lol!!
