The person who films the whole thing and may as well not be at the gig

The idiot who wears a massive backpack when you’re standing and it’s rammers

Dopes who shout out song requests. They’re professional musicians, they’ve rehearsed a set list beforehand. If they happen to play the song you’ve shouted out, it’s just coincidence. They’re not a f*ckin juke-box. And they can’t f*ckin hear you anyway!

I remember going to see the Verve back in late 90s (at the SFX) and a couple in front of me shifted each other for the whole 2 hours. Bet they regret that now!

At metal gigs the annoying ones are the sweaty, fat dudes with their shirts off and the ninja wannabe kids. Plus the kids in Fibber’s who sit outside all night, ignoring all the live bands playing inside.

Jeepers Tokidoll, you should give up goin to gigs. You sound like you mentally scarred!

The people upfront who go for a piss and then attempt to regain their position.

The ones who talk loudly through every song and then scream ohmygodilovethisSONG when the ‘hit’ comes on… Grrrrrr…. And then go back to talking.

How about the crowd surfers doing their thing unexpectedly (and repeatedly) during a whole show so that you’re forever in danger of getting kicked in the head.

The ‘cool’ parent who brings their small child and puts it on their shoulders. Why?! And the one who gets over-excited and suddenly flails their arms, spilling all their neighbours’ drinks. Annoying.

Oh I have so many gripes that I could list here, many already listed above. One has to be the fact that I’ve never been to a gig in Ireland that started on time. EVER. Have been to several in the UK that always start bang on time. Reason seems to be that the Irish just can’t bring themselves to leave the bar & the venues don’t encourage them to drink up in time for the gig to start. At seated venues it’s hugely annoying having a constant stream of latecomers trying to find their seats and then having to leave again 20 mins later for either more drink or toilet breaks. Last gig I was at a couple in front of me came in late and went in and out of their seats a minimum of 4 times each during the gig – why not just stay at home & get pissed there where you’re not annoying other people?

Let’s not forget the cretins who decide to dance/jump around bumping into people thinking their mad punks, despite them being half way back in the audience…too afraid to go up the front. If you want to mosh go up the front and let’s we how long you last!
