If people didn’t put up their decorations in mid November they would not be sick of them by now …. Cop on people there is still a full week of Christmas to go …. and I for one is going to enjoy it !!!

Can’t vote. They should remain up until after Nollaig na mBan. They traditionally come down on 7th January.

Had a small one in the sitting room and the big one in the hall the cat kept ruining the one in the hall so I had to take it down Tuesday, she kept trying to get to the top and she also slept in it and knocked it over a few times

Wish I had a fairy to come and take decorations down & pack them away. I don’t have them up that long but do think that they should be all put away soon into the new year. I always heard it was very bad luck to have them up after the 7th so I use that to spur me on to take them down.

Never mind when to take the tree down..but who originally decided to dig up a tree in the 1st place!!!!, drag it thru the house!!!!! and shove it in the corner for xmas!!!!!

Once its gets into the new year, its time to move on!

The day after new years day is when i take everything down.I do this to get things back to normal.

I had to vote C….. because I didn’t put any decorations up. I live alone and I’m not at home most of the time anyway, so I didn’t really see the point. :P

Just took my tree down the cat kept knocking it over and I couldn’t take it anymore..I usually take it down new years day and say thanks be to god that’s over for another year!!

So glad I didn’t put up a tree this year!

Everything came down today, packed away for next year.

Take mine down New Years day and they don’t go up till xmas eve’hate them but have to put up with them so everyone else can have fun bah humbug.

They come down on New Year’s Day. Christmas is more of a cultural experience than a religious one for me (not a member of any religion despite my parent’s beliefs) so Nollaig na mBan, Little Christmas, Women’s Christmas, Epiphany, Three Kings Day etc. has no significance to me. For me, taking down the decorations on 01 January is my symbolic way of saying goodbye to the old year.

Ours was the 3rd tree deposited at collection depot. Came down yesterday. Back to normal!
