ST PATRICK’S EVE was a busy one for Dublin then.
This was the image captured by Earth Cam just before midnight last night. A sea of people, pints and miniature green hats.
This was the actual scene in Temple Bar a short time later. A little less terrifying when you can see the whites of peoples’ eyes:
Half a million people are expected to throng Dublin city centre today to take part in St Patrick’s Day celebrations. That’s a lot of tiny green hats.
