HAVE YOU TASTED the infamous Tayto chocolate bar yet?
It caused quite the stir when it appeared last month, and prompted much debate in DailyEdge.ie Towers.
This week, a box of 24 precious bars made their way to Australia… not 24 boxes, 24 bars.

Taste Ireland, a company which imports and distributes Irish favourites in Australia has been overwhelmed with expats entering Facebook competitions in order to get their hands on one.
A spokesperson for the company told DailyEdge.ie:
Since it’s a limited edition bar, the supply has run out in Ireland, so we’ve had people in Ireland, America, the UK and all over Australia emailing and entering the competition looking for the bar!
We only have 24 bars, so it’s like the loaves and the fishes!!
Did you catch that? There are no supplies left in Ireland (apart from the ones on the shelves). This is not a drill!
Meanwhile in Oz the winners have been given one bar each to taste test, with the final competition closing tomorrow.
Another bar will be raffled at the Rose of Tralee bar in Sydney tomorrow night.
Tayto crisps are Taste Ireland’s most popular imported product, followed closely by Barry’s Tea.
Now, we’re just off to cry in the corner for not saving a few of the precious bars for future generations.
